What is the Prosperity Gospel about actually?

A brief explanation: It is the teaching that an authentic religious belief and behaviour in a person will result in their material prosperity. That is, the doctrine holds that material prosperity, particularly financial prosperity and success in business and personal life, is to be expected as external evidence of God's favor. (Wikipedia)

So should we believe in it, just be okay with it, or be against it?

Before we make that decision, we have to know what is it really about, isn't it?
